Michael’s Nuveen Green Capital Story
Michael is a Senior Director at Nuveen Green Capital and manages the Washington D.C. office’s Originations team. His team is responsible for pricing, structuring, underwriting, and closing sustainable commercial real estate debt with traditional construction, bridge, and permanent financing for multifamily, hotel, office, retail, and industrial properties. Michael directs loan originations and relationship management initiatives for prospective and existing commercial real estate developers and owners. He is also responsible for managing relationships with commercial mortgage brokers and partnering financial institutions.
Prior to joining Nuveen, Michael held positions with several large financial institutions specializing in providing senior mortgage financing to commercial real estate owners. Michael enjoys offering financing to real estate developers and property owners that desire to enhance the sustainability of their properties.
Michael holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Finance & Development from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia. Michael lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and dog Bodie.
