Kaitlyn’s Nuveen Green Capital Story
Kaitlyn is an Associate Director of Originations at Nuveen Green Capital, representing the state of Florida.
Previously, she was a Vice President and Sr. Commercial Underwriter at TIAA Bank. Her primary responsibility for nearly a decade was underwriting multi-family and multi-tenant commercial real estate loan originations secured by income-producing properties across the country. Prior to TIAA Bank, she spent four years in the Executive Office of the Governor of Florida where she started as a college intern and ended her tenure as a Chief Budget Analyst. Kaitlyn’s time in the public sector largely focused on transportation, environmental and economic development policy and budget issues.
Service to others is central to her life. Kaitlyn is very involved with TIAA’s Jacksonville Volunteer Council having served as Chair in 2020 and inaugural Vice Chair in 2019. Additionally, she currently Co-Chairs TIAA’s chapter for professional women in Jacksonville. Kaitlyn is a long-time volunteer of Feeding Northeast Florida and also gives back by serving as a Take Stock in Children of Florida mentor and financial literacy trainer. In 2020, Kaitlyn was recognized by TIAA, a Fortune 100 financial services institution, for elite volunteerism and community impact. In 2021, she was honored to be named to the Jacksonville Business Journal’s 2021 40 under 40 list as well as represent TIAA Bank as a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation’s 2020-2021 JAX MVP Class for emerging leaders.
Kaitlyn graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University with a double B.S. degree in Business Management and Political Science. She was born and raised in Florida and currently resides in the Jacksonville area. In her spare time, she enjoys practicing Baptiste Power Yoga and is currently completing her 200-hour RYT training.
